Course Objective:

The Diploma in Cooperative Business Management aims at infusing a new dynamism into the Mauritian Co-operative Movement and give it a new dimension through professional management.

It targets mainly cooperative leaders/entrepreneurs who are already holders of a Certificate in Co-operative Management. However, unemployed persons who are holders of academic qualifications acceptable to NCC may also be considered.

Course Objectives
• To impart a thorough insight of the concept of cooperatives to participants and enable them to use the cooperative model as a way of becoming entrepreneur;

• To enhance managerial knowledge and skills of participants with a view to enabling them to manage their cooperative concern in an effective and efficient manner;

• To expose participants to the potential of cooperatives as an alternative way of doing business.
